Peraton is seeking a skilled Computer/Peripheral Operator to join our growing team! The TRIMARC Traffic Operations Center is a 24/7/365 environment. The ideal TRIMARC operators will have responsibility of assessing all incoming traffic data and determining in real time the content and priority of traffic reports to be disseminated.  The TRIMARC operators accurately process large volumes of data from a wide variety of sources.  The TRIMARC operators are the principal contact for many agencies and members of the public.  The operators routinely communicate with emergency service personnel and transportation officials representing various agencies in the TRIMARC region.  The operator’s telephone manners and image will directly reflect on the image of the TOC and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.   Shift/Hours:  The TOC operator may work various shifts and may be required to work weekends, holidays, and fill in on other shifts when needed. Peraton is seeking a Space Relay Hardware Engineering Department Manager in Las Cruces, New Mexico at the National Aeronautics (NASA) White Sands Complex (WSC) to support operations of the Space Relay. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians responsible for performing sustaining engineering functions on Space Relay ground station hardware.   Peraton is the prime contractor for NASA at the White Sands Complex (WSC) near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Operating here are two functionally identical satellite ground terminals: The White Sands Ground Terminal, and the Second TDRSS Ground Terminal. These ground terminals ensure uninterrupted communications between various ground stations, NASA’s orbiting fleet of Tracking and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS), customer spacecraft (satellites), and the computer systems that support such spacecraft. WSC serves as an interface for distributing satellite data to control centers and scientists who then use the daily influx of data to expand our ever-growing knowledge of the Earth and the universe.   This position will be responsible for: - Oversight of the development of engineering change documentation to ensure it is complete, accurate and clearly written. In general, the position is responsible for providing computer operations services necessary to support the batch production of the ALECS and Service Desk functions of the TIERS applications, and for monitoring the environment and performance of the ALECS and TIERS production systems using the provided systems, processes, and tools. Work is performed in 24/7 environment at the Albuquerque Data Center during the third shift and weekends. Peraton requires Network LAN/WAN Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.  Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.    The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. The Network LAN/WAN Administrator performs Tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. This position provides administration of network and communications systems, including, but not limited to, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. The Administrator must have solid technical skills, with experience in a variety of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations. This position requires strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities. The Network Administrator must have comprehensive knowledge of Government hardware, software, and network components. The Administrator is responsible for creating monitoring reports and managing equipment logs, as well as ensuring the functionality of links. This position coordinates network administration and performance requirements with other members of the networking team as well as identifies, analyzes, and documents long-range requirements, and administers resources related to the enterprise network. The Administrator shall prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions. The Administrator is required to research applicable standards and requirements documents to assure network compliance. The Network LAN/WAN Administrator plans for and provide reasonable responsiveness in terms of network performance (e.g., availability, reliability, and throughput). This position prepares activity and progress reports for the Government regarding network performance initiatives. This position shall provide full lifecycle support of LAN and WAN infrastructures.
