Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Database Administrator for the Department of Defense (DoD) DMDC Enterprise Law Enforcement Support Services (ELEs2) program. In this role you will design, develop, build, analyze, evaluate and install database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. You will use data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with DMDC ELEs2 application stakeholders, business analysts, to understand software requirements and specifications.
  • Support appropriate programming languages, tools, and frameworks. Ensures that software applications are accessible to people with disabilities, in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (U.S. law).
  • Work with UX/UI designers to implement designs that are color-contrast compliant, provide text alternatives for non-text content (like images), and support scalable text.
  • Ensure that design conforms to DMDC architectural direction established by the DMDC ARB. Conduct code reviews for junior developer members. Supports implementation of AI tools and agents in the SDLC.

Qualifications

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Able to obtain a TS clearance
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • IAT III Certification ( must have one of the following CISSP, CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP
  • DB platform certification (Oracle cert preferred)

Desired Qualifications:

  • CouchDB and SQL experience is desired
  • ITIL 4

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
