The Digital Forensics Labratory receives, processes and analyzes digital evidence utilizing a wide variety of advanced technologies, encryption schemes, and forensic tools in support of the DSS mission.
The SME (Subject Matter Expert) Senior Forensic Analyst Team Lead, will become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program. Those supporting Peraton’s DSCM program at CIF provide superior critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills to address real-world computer forensic challenges. The SME team lead will leverage their expertise in the area of digital forensics to assure forensic soundness of digital evidence is maintained to court adminisability standards of the U.S Department of Justice.
Position Description:
- Serves in a hybrid SME Senior Digital Forensic Analyst team lead role who will support the CIF program as an SME by providing, case work, guidance and recommendations regarding digital forensic accepted principles and practices while also serving as a team lead and mentor to up-to seven junior to senior level analysts.

Successful candidate will work with a team of diverse expertise including systems engineers, image analysts, photogrammetrists, and statisticians to plan and perform specific tests, track issues, and clearly communicate status and results to multiple stakeholders.
