Responsibilities

The Continuity Specialist ensures operational readiness to execute mission essential functions during continuity events. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the customer's ability to continue operations under any circumstances, by coordinating facility preparedness, component readiness, and implementation of continuity plans. 

 

Ensure operational readiness of continuity facilities. Conduct regular assessments of facility capabilities and resources. Collaborate with Site Support Manager to address facility issues. Monitor and report on facility status and preparedness levels. 

 

Monitor preparedness of organizations to implement their OPLANs during continuity events. Provide guidance on OPLAN implementation and updates. Conduct regular readiness reviews with Continuity Coordinators.  

 

Lead planning and execution of annual continuity coordinator exercise. Document and share lessons learned from exercises.

 

Develop and maintain continuity CONOPs. Create and update SOPs. Ensure alignment between OPLAN and component procedures. Review and validate planning documents.

 

Support activation and execution of continuity operations. Provide technical guidance during continuity event. Monitor and report on status of continuity operations. Coordinate with mission resilience program manager on SOP implementation. Serve as SME for continuity related queries. 

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with relevant polygraph.
  • 5+ years of IC professional experience to include at least 3 years of COOP experience and at least 3 years of experience with our client. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study 
  • Four (4) years of Military/Civilian, DoD/Government, or IC experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with: Service Now, Website maintenance, Web based training, Task manager tools

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
