Peraton and its Operational Planning, Implementation and Assessment Services Team is seeking an experienced Red Team Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response (CHMR) Targeting Planner Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Implement and integrate the pillars of the Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response plan into the Joint Targeting Cycle. The Operational Planner SME will incorporate deliberate and systemic measures to mitigate the risks of target misidentification. This includes addressing cognitive biases, specifically confirmation bias, anchoring bias, and groupthink. Peraton is the prime contractor for NASA at the White Sands Complex (WSC) near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Operating here are two functionally identical satellite ground terminals: The White Sands Ground Terminal, and the Second TDRSS Ground Terminal.
