Peraton is seeking a Deputy Manager, Engineering and Implementation to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals on our Department of State (DOS) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program. CAEIO supports the DOS Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA), providing IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.   The Deputy Manager reports to the Director, Engineering and Implementation.   The Engineering Team leaders oversee and manage all engineering projects/pilots/proof-of-concept efforts and provide engineering services for physical and virtual hosting/operating environments for all CA systems, both domestically and abroad. Engineering and design services cover physical and virtual Windows and Linux Server platforms, as well IaaS/PaaS/SaaS offerings and SW-defined infrastructure within Consular Affairs. Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems. Manages Service Desk queues, identifies trends, provides improvement plans and resolves tickets.
