Peraton is seeking a Senior Social Scientist, who is experienced working with a diverse team of analysts, and information operations (IO) planners, strategic communications and policy professionals to translate empirical research findings into operational assessments. The ability to work on a team in a collaborative environment is a requirement.    The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing analytic and assessment projects evaluating the information environment (IE) in the US FORCES KOREA (USFK) area of responsibility (AOR). The candidate will complete assessment reports in the form of briefs, PowerPoint presentations, and direct inputs into C2IE (Command and Control in the Information Environment).    This position is located at Camp Humphreys’, South Korea.    You will have the opportunity to: - Perform a broad range of data analysis assignments entailing unique problems, innovative use of techniques, advance approaches, and/or new technology. Applies a variety of analytic methodologies in order to visualize and present data to decision-makers and in support of command objectives. - Supports the efforts of analysts and planning teams by sourcing, providing, consolidating, or synthesizing data into displayable formats for ease of interpretation and dissemination. - Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with command staff and senior leaders to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to ongoing or proposed activities. - Conduct assessments of the information environment, applying a combination of opinion research data, intelligence, operational reporting, and social media insights. - Provide data visualization and explain quantitative analysis from Peraton’s research team / vendors. and quantitative analysis. - Contribute to design of opinion research and interpretation of findings. The CAEIO Program provides IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.   The Analyst will support the Quality Assurance audit processes and support the generation of reports and metrics assessing Peraton's performance across the CAEIO program.
