The candidate should have a working understanding and practical application of modeling geometric components of the image collection path to fully assess the geolocation and mensuration accuracy of a system. Peraton is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician to provide Mission Essential support under the Consolidated Satellite Control Network (SCN) Modification, Maintenance, & Operations (CAMMO) contract in Vandenberg AFB, CA. You will be part of a team that provides 24x7 support for the operation, control, and maintenance of mission critical United States Department of Defense and some non-DoD satellites, including continual execution of Telemetry, Tracking & Commanding (TT&C) operations.  In addition, they provide early orbit launch support while satellites are in initial or transfer orbits and require commanding to maneuver to their final orbit.    The CAMMO contract maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, operation & site support, organizational & depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications, and factory/launch compatibility testing for the SCN resulting in reduced Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs.  The CAMMO contract requires employees to perform mission essential functions for high consequence DoD missions during contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency situations.    The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the following but not limited to: - Performs operations and corrective/preventive maintenance on telecommunications equipment and circuits, RF equipment, secure communications equipment and computerized systems. - Documents operations, performance testing, troubleshooting and maintenance activities in job registers and databases. - Completes paperwork for equipment and spares inventories, and reports. - Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder on antenna towers, at heights of 40 feet or more, and constantly positions self to work on equipment mounted lower in racks **Provides 24x7 mission essential support to military war-fighters. Peraton is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer, Power to support our NASA Sounding Rocket Operations Contract (NSROC) contract at the Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA.   As an Associate Electrical Engineer, Power you will be responsible for the design, testing, and field operations support related to sounding rocket power distribution systems.  Associate EE’s research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering.   Responsibilities: - Production and presentation of technical material in support of internal and external customer meetings. - Develop special purpose circuits to monitor vehicle or payload events, to establish compatible voltage or impedance levels, or to perform in-flight functions. - Utilize ground support equipment to test power system components. - Technical Knowledge of Battery Systems, including, but not limited to NiCad and Li-ion. - Understanding of Battery Charging systems and methods. - Manage the activities required to meet the objectives of assigned design and development projects. - Design, test, and support use of ordnance (class 1.3 and 1.4) activation systems. Training will be required in: - Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) - Quality Management System - Ordnance Handling Travel: - Approximately 2 months/year travel is required.

  The team uses a variety of computer and network forensics tools and methods, scripting languages, database and software applications to review data and then develop routing and ingestion instructions for new datasets in various data formats. Among other responsibilities the team performs analyses to understand the impact of new datasets on existing hardware and software infrastructures and assists in the evaluation of potential impact and deconflicts negative performance interactions.   Data Engineer: Pull structured and unstructured data from various disparate sources, and be able to merge common fields to create analytics. Forward deploy these anlytics to useers via Github and Anaconda. Familiarity with various Linux and Windows environments to assist uses with setup and configuration of deployed tools.  Deploy current applications to a containerized in support of creating micro services.
