Peraton is seeking Network LAN/WAN Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 in Coronado, CA.   The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.   The Network LAN/WAN Administrator performs Tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. This position provides administration of network and communications systems, including, but not limited to, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. The Administrator must have solid technical skills, with experience in a variety of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations. This position requires strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities. The Network Administrator must have comprehensive knowledge of Government hardware, software, and network components. The Administrator is responsible for creating monitoring reports and managing equipment logs, as well as ensuring the functionality of links. Travel is minimal and only for training purposes.**     What you’ll do… - Oversee the maintenance activities at an Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) Remote Tracking Station (RTS); a 24x7 work force of operations and maintenance (O&M) technicians working with RF, digital telecommunications, encryption, and networking systems.  Attend O&M meetings as required - Verify maintenance activities are properly scheduled, performed and documented.  Use the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) to schedule, document and track maintenance activities, to include unscheduled equipment failures and preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs).  Coordinate authorized service interruptions (ASIs or “down time”) with customers and AFSCN schedulers to perform PMIs - Coordinate, liaison and represent our “level 1” organizational maintenance team with “level 2” depot maintenance activities; including PDMs, EDLMs and UDLMs.  Verify receipt and proper staging of equipment for depot teams. This position will support Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.     In this role, you will:   - Conduct research and evaluate technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to networked weapons platforms and US and DoD information networks. - Lead and manage other Cloud analysts on a daily basis. - Participate in strategic modernization planning and lines of effort. - Collaborate with cross functional teams with in the division. - Collaborate with all teams within CIRT. - Analyze network events to determine the impact on current operations and conducted all-source research to determine advisory capability and intent. - Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open- source information. - Correlate threat data from various sources. able to develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensuring maximum operations. - Collect data via a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. - Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior government and network operations officials. #DSCM

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyber Penetration Tester to become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes.   Location: Arlington, VA.  This is a hybrid role and will require regular on-site work in Arlington, VA    What you’ll do: - Support the Penetration Testing (Red Cell) Team. - Assesses the current state of the customer’s system security by identifying all vulnerabilities and security measures. Helps customer perform analysis and mitigation of security vulnerabilities. - Perform and report on penetration testing of systems including cloud to satisfy the NIST 800-53 CA-8 security control and using methodologies that may include, NIST SP 800-115, Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES), and Information Systems Security Assessment Framework (ISSAF). - Stay abreast of current attack vectors and unique methods for exploitation of computer networks. - Provide support to incident response teams through capability enhancement and reporting. - Assist in maintaining Red Cell infrastructure. - Develop or modify tools that automate discovery or exploitation (e.g. bash, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell). - Ability to work independently or in a small group. #DSCM
