Peraton is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Manual Tester. Candidate shall be part of a team responsible for the technical support and administration of the Department of Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS). DCAS is the selected enterprise solution for Department of the Treasury reporting which will interface with several Department of Defense enterprise resource planning systems. The Software Tester/Analyst creates test plans, performs tests, and documents and communicates software testing results. Ensures completed software meets established standards. Validates end user documentation. They will interface with the development teams and client business analysts as required. They will participate in system requirements reviews, critical design reviews, test readiness reviews and pre/post implementation reviews as part of the defined system development life cycle. GEX provides secure communications, data validation, transformation, routing, workflow and application of business rules with a complete end-to-end audit trail between hundreds of DoD systems.  Technical editing is a collaborative process of generating content with authors to check the correctness of specialized terminology, equations, and combinability of textual and visual elements.
