Peraton is seeking an Electronics Engineering, Associate in our St. Charles, MO location in support of Westar Display Technologies, a division of Peraton Labs.   Westar Display Technologies (WDT) delivers world class video processing solutions to both commercial and military cockpit Training and Simulation applications. WDT’s products can be seen at westar.com.   Role and responsibility for this position: The engineer will be responsible for developing: - Embedded firmware and FPGA designs for Westar products. - PC-based VB.net software for applications that allow customers to configure Westar products for the customer’s unique application. - Create appropriate internal design documentation and external user’s manuals to support long-term maintenance of the code and successful customer use of the applications.

As a Digital Design Engineer for Peraton Labs, you will support high speed CCA and FPGA development using the latest RFSoC and MPSoC technology. In addition, you will perform FPGA development for high-speed signal process, interface to real-time software components, and system level control. The engineer will also support high speed CCA circuit design and board layout.   We are seeking a candidate with a track record of effectively working in teams, proactively identifying issues, independently solving problems, and creating novel solutions.
