  Peraton has an opening for SAGE Systems Engineer at the White Sands Complex in Las Cruces, NM. The Systems Engineer will join a team of engineers dedicated to maintaining the health and safety of the STPSat-6 spacecraft and associated ground equipment. The STPSat-6 mission will advance U.S. scientific and national security capabilities across the mission areas of Communications, Space Weather and Situational Awareness.   Peraton is the prime contractor for NASA at the White Sands Complex (WSC) near Las Cruces, New Mexico. The System Engineering group supports the ground system for the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) fleet , the STPSat-6 mission, and other applicable ground systems.     Responsibilities:   - Individual will act as the responsible person of contact for systems across SAGE - Be responsible for implementing engineering changes to SAGE infrastructure and SSOC infrastructure. - Support as the technical POC for all vendor level agreements for SAGE. - Update/Create drawings and documentation for SAGE infrastructure, using applicable CAD software. - Identify, plan, and execute against obsolescence, reliability, and sustainability issues of all components across SAGE by reporting on State-of-Health. - Facilitate Discrepancy Report analysis and trends to identify issues. - Replace supporting Hardware Engineers after 6 months of on-the-job training of systems. - Collect and maintain all locations for SAGE drawings and documentation.

We are looking for a SharePoint Administrator/Knowledge Manager. The roles will include creating, developing, and automating capabilities in SharePoint, and will require a deep familiarization with the Microsoft 365 Suite. This individual will be in charge of revamping permissions, changing acceptable use policies, and policy integration with MS services to ensure optimal security and usability. Furthermore, we are looking for a M365 expert with the ability to add-on services and apps to better communicate internally and externally with partners. The SharePoint serves as the back-end storage for the team, so there will also be a need for the candidate to have experience with data analysis, retention, and visualization.

In this position with Peraton Labs you will serve as a member of an experienced engineering team responsible for development of next generation counter unmanned aerial system (CUAS) solutions.  Your role will be to develop the real-time Linux / C++ based software which controls all aspects of the CUAS precision targeting system.  This position will require approximately 15% travel to various military test ranges across the US and internationally.   What You'll Get to DO: - Develop C++ software in a Red Hat Linux environment.  You will be responsible developing modern, real-time C++ code within our team’s application infrastructure.  You will use Conan to manage software dependencies, Gitlab for distributed source code control, Jira for issue tracking, and CMAKE for build configuration.  - Develop and test interfaces to a wide variety of external systems.  Your software will interface with the external environment through a number of protocols including ethernet, CAN bus, RS232, RS422, RS485, discretes, and USB.  You will develop implementations of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) which enable your software to perform motion control, consume targeting data, and control external weapon systems.  Interface testing will be conducted via simulators of external components running in our System Integration Laboratory (SIL). - Travel to support field tests.  Your software will generally be tested at a live-fire test event.  You will travel to and setup your system and its required support equipment – to include military systems / weapons.  You will support test data collection, system and software troubleshooting, and may participate in the test by serving as the test operator for your software and related systems.

  Peraton is seeking a Fire Protection Design Engineer in our Monrovia, CA location in support of the Deep Space Network (DSN) program with NASA/JPL.   The Deep Space Network is NASA’s international array of giant radio antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions, plus a few that orbit Earth. The DSN also provides radar and radio astronomy observations that improve our understanding of the solar system and the larger universe. The antennas of the Deep Space Network are the indispensable link to explorers venturing beyond the moon. They provide the crucial connection for commanding our spacecraft and receiving their never before seen images and scientific information on Earth, propelling our understanding of the universe, our solar system and ultimately, our place within it.   Reporting to the Facilities Engineering Manager, as a Fire Protection Design Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring quality and timely deliveries of our Fire Protection system along with additional services to customers. The design engineer requires an in-depth understanding of current Fire Protection design standards and industry processes. As a licensed Fire Protection Engineer, you will be the primary contact for customer facing project work. This key position works closely with AHJ’S and clients to ensure projects are compliant and being completed as assigned. The Fire Protection design engineer is fully responsible and accountable for the final design content and document generation to support the Fire Protection system. The right candidate for this position can meet required deadlines and communicate effectively with customers and jurisdictional authorities.     Responsibilities: - Attend project Kick-Off meetings, facilitate design reviews, provide construction inspection (as necessary), and test/commission system deliveries - Plan, direct, and oversee fire protection engineering activities including project execution, testing, and recommend operational spares. Peraton is seeking a Servo Subsystem Engineer to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA at our Fort Irwin, CA location.   The Servo Subsystem Engineer will support testing, maintaining and modifying GDSCC Tracking Station equipment related to Digital and Antenna Servo systems and subsystems. Such equipment includes, but is not limited to, commercial off the shelf general purpose computer systems and associated peripherals, special purpose digital computer devices, PLCs, electronics associated with the control and monitoring of antenna servo systems, Linux Computers, surveillance and CCTV systems.   Responsibilities:   - Implement Engineering Change Orders. - Troubleshoot and repair failures using sub-system documentation, drawings and schematics. - Interface with internal and external customers - Analyze problems and direct repair - Document corrective action and analysis of problems using the DRMS and MAXIMO data bases - Assist operations as required - Direct implementation of Engineering Changes. The CAEIO Program provides IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.   Overview   The Salesforce Administrator designs, develops, evaluates and modifies systems and systems-oriented products. Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Salesforce products; investigates the technical capabilities of Salesforce products and competing equipment and/or solutions; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Researches, collects, and reports information on the ability and capacity of Salesforce products and competitors. Coordinates resolution of product/service issues, upgrades, and problems.
