Candidates local to the Hawaiian islands will be given preference. Peraton, Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Systems Integrator (SI) to provide architecture and engineering support to NGA’s Analysis Tradecraft and Technology (NGA/AT) office. The SI will assist in translating mission needs into technical requirements and architecture to inform current and future research and development acquisitions. The SI will work with other integrators to include content, infrastructure, and application to enable deployment of new capabilities to production based on the release schedules for programs delivering modeling capabilities. Familiarity with NGA missions, organizations, practices, and procedures to enable successful integration is desired. The SI must be  knowledgeable and able to follow Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles for the development of new capabilities. Responsible for leading and engaging in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Information Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes. Responsible for developing and maintaining the logical Enterprise Information Architecture that enables seamless information interoperability of systems from transaction systems, document management systems and information delivery systems. Proven experience in developing information architectures aligned information lifecycle management. Proven experience performing conceptual, logical and physical data modeling with data modeling tools and database design in complex, large-scale data environments. Proven experience in transactional data modeling, dimensional modeling and object oriented modeling. Proven experience in developing scalable design of entities using advanced data structures (e.g., tall tables) is a plus. Experience in developing data models that support, inter alia, time dependency, historical tracings, taxonomies (simple and complex), and multilingual data. Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., UML, OML, entity relationship modeling, DFDs) including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams. Proven experience creating enterprise models incorporating master and reference data. Experience in creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches and governance processes. Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans. Experience in developing data sharing standards and architecting scalable service oriented solutions. Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to work with a massively parallel enterprise platform, built with Java on free and open source Software products including Kubernetes, Hadoop and Accumulo, to enable execution of data-intensive analytics on a managed infrastructure. The Systems Engineer 2 will augment the existing Foundations team. A successful candidate for this position has experience in system architecture and diagraming, managing and documenting resources for a large-scale environment.

Senior-level Digital Engineering (DE) Enterprise Engineer responsible for leading systems engineering & integration of the NGA DE architecture, governance, and adoption across user organizations.  Develops and manages the DE Roadmap, capturing the phased implementation of the DE ecosystem (data, infrastructure, tools, user adoption, technology growth). Peraton is seeking a System Engineer to assist with developing comprehensive SOA solutions, developing operational view; technical standards view, and system and services view for architectures using applicable DoDAF standards; conducting and/or approving end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize system operations over its life-cycle through the proper balance of non-functional system performance areas; using validated models, simulations, and prototyping to mitigate risk and reduce cost of system development; ensuring effective, periodic review and control of the evolving configuration of a system, both hardware and software components and associated documentation, during the life of the system.

Peraton is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support the Mechanical Integration group at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.   The position falls under the Environmental Testing Integration Services program.  The candidate will perform moderate to complex tasks, demonstrating an ability to achieve full competency. Will work in group settings and independently. Perform duties in areas such as integration of flight and non-flight hardware parts and assemblies, cleanroom operations, inspections and utilization of lifting and handling devices, assistance in performing spacecraft environment and proof tests, repairing and maintaining equipment, assembly and utilization of ground support equipment (GSE) for both flight and non-flight uses. Works frequently in a cleanroom environment. Displays an aptitude for basic machining, metal cutting, and use of hand tools and precision measuring devices. May perform additional unspecified duties associated to mechanical integration. - Assists and leads in the assembly and testing of flight and non-flight hardware parts, assemblies, and GSE from provided drawings and documentation. - Will work with engineers and other technicians in the assembly, integration, lifting, transport, and launch support of spaceflight components, hardware, instruments and spacecraft. - Conducts tests or experiments; analyzes results and suggests modifications to equipment to improve performance and reports results. - Assists in the planning and performance of tests to evaluate equipment.
