Peraton Labs is seeking a poly cleared Software Research Engineerto join our team conducting advanced research at a customer site in Maryland. This role blends hands-on software development with applied research, supporting rapid prototyping, integration into complex environments, and performance-driven algorithm implementation. The ideal candidate is technically strong, curious, and comfortable working across research, engineering, and customer-facing deliverables. Work within this position spans research, prototyping, integration, test/evaluation, and delivery of technical artifacts.  

Peraton Labs is seeking a poly cleared Principal RF Research Scientist to lead and execute cutting-edge R&D in Radio Frequency Machine Learning (RFML), Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and/or Software Defined Radio (SDR). You will serve as a technical leader for our research team, driving development from concept through prototype, while collaborating closely with our MD based government customer. This role will also include shaping new work through whitepapers, proposals, and customer-facing technical leadership.  

Peraton Labs is seeking a self-motivated Cyber AI/ML Research Scientist with a strong foundation in cybersecurity technologies, computer networks, and AI/ML to help design and deliver next-generation network-based defensive capabilities. This role focuses on the research, prototyping, and evaluation of AI-enabled cyber detection and modeling of cyber phenomena using techniques such as DNNs, transformer-based models, and agentic AI-assisted approaches.

Recent research has shown that AI-based systems are highly prone to error when presented with adversarially crafted inputs, such as imperceptible perturbations added to an image.
