They will also work closely with the Strategic Innovation Group OU and BU Leads to understand and further their new business goals for both new and on-contract growth. Further, the Senior Director will understand the growth goals of the larger Peraton organization, identify technology transition and new growth opportunities for the organization. Success in this role is ultimately measured by meeting and exceeding acquisition and financial targets aligned to company goals. - Establish market campaigns, engagement plans, and strategic partnerships to improve offerings and achieve business objectives - Develop and mature key relationships within customer organizations across the DoD and IC - Research and analyze the competitive landscape to identify market shifts, identify gaps, and focus the organization on “what’s next” - Develop and deliver required business acquisition artifacts, reports, and presentations - Cooperate with other leaders across the Strategic Innovation Group and other business sectors across the enterprise to deliver collaborative solutions - Support direct program technical requirements in an advisory/SME capacity - Travel as required, as dictated by business needs

Peraton is currently hiring a solutions engineer within the Federal Government arena with a focus on Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM). The COMSATCOM engineer as part of a program team and will support a government client in developing COMSATCOM solutions to meet mission needs and integrate these solutions into an overall communications architecture. The engineer should have a proven ability to work in the Federal space, particularly DoD and Intelligence Community. It is important that the candidate have established contacts and relationships within the commercial satellite communications community and the government client community.   Responsibilities: · Identify customer needs and drivers both technically and financially and collaborate with the program teams through customer assessments, proposal development and the delivery of effective communications. · Independently and collaboratively, develop solutions to complex problems based on customer needs and requirements. · Configure, operate, and effectively interpret results from test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, and LAN and WAN test sets. · Develop strategies and options to address requirements · Analyze and interpret technical products including gain grids, contour maps, link budgets, sun outages, etc. · Perform feasibility analysis to develop value for customer solutions · Learn new communications technologies and apply as needed to resolve problems · Develop and maintain trusting and collaborative technical customer relationships, both internally and externally

In this position with Peraton Labs, you will serve as the Radar System Engineer and Subject Matter Expert for efforts related to Precision Fires Radars (PFR) integrated with Armament Systems.  You will work strategically with Radar Team members, the Radar Team Lead, Government Branch Chief, Senior Government Leadership, and PM/Customer reps to execute System and Technical Engineering tasks for various PFR programs. The candidate will support PFR system development and integration through working with an interdisciplinary group of scientists and engineers, interfacing with IPT members from Academia, Industry, and Government, reviewing technical design materials, providing recommendations, conducting analysis tasks on advanced signal processing techniques and radar data, documenting project plans, system engineering artifacts, derived subsystem requirements and test planning and execution/support.   Responsibilities include: - Planning, implementing, and pro-actively correcting issues related to performance and technical risk management for PFR efforts - Providing support and subject matter expertise in various PFR disciplines related to the design, development, and testing of PFR systems and integration with armament systems, including high accuracy ground based radar systems tracking projectiles, threats (for some missions) - Enabling advanced capabilities through a Radar to Munition Datalink for Command guidance and Navigation support - Developing and utilizing modeling and simulation tools related to radar systems, signal processing, and tracker algorithms - Conducting technical analysis to evaluate performance of existing radar systems, suggesting methods of improvement of radar performance, and assessing future system performance in new mission areas

The Networking Systems RF Design Engineer at Peraton Labs will support RF design for a mmW RF front end to a high speed signal processing system. The responsibilities will include RF simulation, implementation, and testing. The RF engineer will also support board layout and design for test prototypes as well as form factor optimization. The RF Design Engineer will interface closely with the digital CCA and FPGA development teams. The successful candidate will have a track record of effectively working in teams, proactively identifying issues, independently solving problems, and creating novel solutions. As a Principal Scientist within Peraton Labs, the candidate will lead development and implementation of new signal processing algorithms for wireless systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work at theoretical algorithm development while also being hands-on to write software and analyze data.
