Peraton is seeking a Summer & Fall 2024 Electrical Engineering Intern in our Wallops Island, VA location to support our NASA Sounding Rocket Operations Contract (NSROC) program. NSROC implements the work of the NASA Sounding Rocket program (NSRP) to fully design, build, integrate, test, and fly sounding rockets via expendable suborbital rockets to study a host of scientific objectives.    Interns at NSROC are given the opportunity to work on flight hardware and flight designs including design, analysis, and testing, as well as apply theoretical knowledge to solve real world engineering problems.   This position is on-site at Wallops Island, VA. Peraton requires Systems Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.  Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.    The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. This position is located at the NASA White Sands Complex (WSC) in Las Cruces, NM.     Peraton is the prime contractor for NASA at the White Sands Complex (WSC) near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Operating here are two functionally identical satellite ground terminals: The White Sands Ground Terminal, and the Second TDRSS Ground Terminal. We are looking for a Software Engineer in Bellevue, Nebraska. This position is responsible for all facets of administering war fighting web systems at USSTRATCOM. It includes installing, configuring, securing, and optimizing complex enterprise web and middleware deployments on Linux platforms. Additional duties include deploying and integrating government developed applications into the web/middleware environment. Server environments are subject to strict uptime requirements and secured per stringent DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides. Expert Systems Integrators support the Government by leading and overseeing the integrity of the NSG/ASG systems-of-systems enterprise.  They lead and oversee planning, implementation approaches, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for total cloud services, systems or subsystems using defined processes and tools.  They provide end-to-end system development life cycle support to the program. The Research Directorate requires enterprise/systems architecture support to a Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination, and Storage (TCPED-S) Enterprise.  This individual will focus on understanding the current and future planned airborne and spaceborne architecture for the NSG, and the NSG’s chief architect’s plan.  The candidate should have spectral exploitation knowledge and may work closely with Image Scientists to understand the process to analyze and exploit literal and non-literal data.
