The Cloud Security Engineer must be a highly technical individual who is expected to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and AWS platforms. The Engineer will need to be able to anticipate and lead the response to cyber threats, attacks and vulnerabilities and lead and perform risk analysis for vulnerabilities, incidents and change management requests. The Cloud Security Engineer will need the ability to quickly analyze large amounts of often conflicting data and make sound decisions in extremely stressful situations. This position provides guidance and direction for junior network support technicians.   Duties include but are not limited to: - Providing comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. - Interfacing with O&M personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects as directed. - Comprehensively reviewing existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. - Establishing systems engineering with a focus on the end-to-end functionality of complex systems of - Establishing service integration, database structure management, active directory services/DNS, Thin/zero client and - Providing data storage with expertise in SANs technologies, NAS technologies, iSCSI, and DAS - Establishing portal/web services with expertise in the design of medium to large enterprise farms, geographical replication, interfacing with external data sources and integration of third- party add-ons. - Monitoring PKI/certificate authority - Providing CRM - Performing disaster recovery and backup/restore. - Supporting efforts for cybersecurity technology, risks identification and risk mitigation strategies related to cybersecurity, and A&A support documentation in accordance with applicable DoD and IC directives. - Maintaining LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures, voice and data network systems, advanced engineering, and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. - Establishing SATCOM with an emphasis on IP satellite - Providing support with Wireless networking, Application delivery networking, Cloud computing, Mobile computing, End Point management, and desktop computing - Providing Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) or other NSA Capabilities Package - Engineering enterprise data, voice, and video networks - Establishing and operating network test facilities - Maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks - Working with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management - Providing high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, bridges, and routers - Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission   **Salary range is based on geographical location and experience level.** #SITEC2023
