Peraton is seeking a Software Tester who will work as part of the DevOps and Information Assurance (IA) teams on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy’s Tomahawk Missile program. These teams support the development of software deployment and monthly and quarterly IA updates.  This is a great opportunity to learn DevOps and IA concepts and how they are implemented on the program.   Peraton develops several TMPC applications, providing support for tactical and training operations. Functions provided by these applications include mission planning; data distribution; strike planning, rehearsal, and coordination; strike execution, monitoring, and control; strike reporting; and communications configuration and data management/delivery.   The primary focus of your role on the DevOps and IA teams is to: - Test deployment updates, including performing installs and verifying deployment changes in a development/test environment, prior to the deployment media being released for installation on TMPC systems and delivery to the customer. - Test IA updates for the development team prior to the monthly and quarterly IA updates being released for formal test. As part of the DevOps and IA teams, you will perform tests in the classified lab environment at the Santa Clara, CA facility. Peraton is seeking a software tester who will work as part of the System Test Team on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy’s Tomahawk Missile program. Functions provided by these applications include mission planning; data distribution; strike planning, rehearsal, and coordination; strike execution, monitoring, and control; strike reporting; and communications configuration and data management/delivery.   The primary focus of your role on the System Test Team is to test new system capabilities through scenario-based tests, implement automated tests, conduct system regression testing, and be the technical test lead within the team. - For new system capability testing, you will work with the Agile development teams to understand the new system behavior, including impacts on legacy behavior, and then write/execute tests that exercise the new behavior in an operational workflow from a user’s perspective. - For automated tests, you will work under the leadership and mentorship of the test automation lead engineer and help lay the foundation for the test automation strategy and framework. - For system regression testing, you will execute existing manual tests or automated tests, testing from a user’s perspective. These tests may be scenario based or capability based. You will also develop new automated tests or enhance existing automated tests with each major delivery to the customer to incorporate the delivered capabilities into the regression tests. - For the technical lead role within the team, you will mentor other team members regarding the TMPC system behavior, including legacy system behavior and understanding how new capabilities fit within and change the legacy behavior, the team’s test process, and best practices for both manual and automated testing. As part of the System Test Team, you will perform tests in the classified lab environment at the Santa Clara, CA facility. Some remote work is possible.   In addition to your role as a member of the System Test Team, you may support the test activities of Agile development teams. Peraton is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician to provide Mission Essential support under the Consolidated Satellite Control Network (SCN) Modification, Maintenance, & Operations (CAMMO) contract in Vandenberg AFB, CA.  You will be part of a team that provides 24x7 support for the operation, control, and maintenance of mission critical United States Department of Defense and some non-DoD satellites, including continual execution of Telemetry, Tracking & Commanding (TT&C) operations.  In addition, they provide early orbit launch support while satellites are in initial or transfer orbits and require commanding to maneuver to their final orbit.    The CAMMO contract maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, operation & site support, organizational & depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications, and factory/launch compatibility testing for the SCN resulting in reduced Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs.  The CAMMO contract requires employees to perform mission essential functions for high consequence DoD missions during contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency situations.    The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the following but not limited to: - Performs operations and corrective/preventive maintenance on telecommunications equipment and circuits, RF equipment, secure communications equipment and computerized systems. - Documents operations, performance testing, troubleshooting and maintenance activities in job registers and databases. - Completes paperwork for equipment and spares inventories, and reports. - Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder on antenna towers, at heights of 40 feet or more, and constantly positions self to work on equipment mounted lower in racks **Provides 24x7 mission essential support to military war-fighters.
