Peraton is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Herndon, VA or Aurora, CO to support Intelligence Community and DoD customers as part of a talented,high-performing team. As part of this teamyou will work with emerging service and distributed computing technologies for satellite situational awareness (SSA) data processing and distribution.    The EMMETT program, a next gen Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system, establishes a repository of resident space objects (RSOs), finds RSOs of interest, and provides data to ground operators. The EMMETT team uses: programmatics, sensor modeling, and system engineering expertise to deliver this world-class SDA I&W system.   What you'll do: - Provide TS/SCI Java software development of modules. Peraton is looking for a motivate and driven Senior Collaboration Engineer to join our dynamic Network and Unified Communications Architecture team of network and UC engineers in Alexandria, VA. This team provides planning, design, configuration, deployment, and tier III troubleshooting support. We provide executive-level government leaders reliable security voice, video, and fax communications anytime, anywhere, in any environment for day-today crisis management.   We provide a secure, worldwide, high-performance communications network comprised of real-time interactive applications operating over a dedicated IP backbone with secure services for complex national and worldwide executive-level communications. Peraton provides the O&M of the network infrastructure and its components.  The team provides IT hardware and software to support the goals of the contract, including performance based C4IM services, product support, and O&M for both legacy and newly installed systems. We provide integration for development of hardware and software solutions, and task support for the delivery of system, network, software, and security solutions.   In this role you will be responsible with enabling program mission success by leveraging new and existing unified communications designs. This work is hands-on and includes aspects of planning, design, implementation, and deployment. As a Digital Design Engineer for Peraton Labs, you will support high speed CCA and FPGA development using the latest RFSoC and MPSoC technology. Peraton is seeking experienced Journeyman Operator – Lima Skill Level 2 personnel to join our team on an exciting, soon to be awarded program providing analyst services for high-priority critical missions in Augusta, GA, where Peraton has an established large workforce supporting Department of Defense programs. The ideal candidate provides experienced language-enabled geolocation operations in support of real-world missions.  The Journeyman Operator – Lima shall perform 24/7 operational support for geolocation and language translation, and mentor less experienced operators.

Seeking a motivated IMAGE SCIENTIST to support product evaluations, algorithm quality studies, new product initializations, or develop image quality equations to quantify the expected quality of an imaging system.   Candidate should have a working understanding and practical application of modeling components of the image path to include sensor, detector, atmospheric, and material properties. Imaging systems could include panchromatic (pan), RADAR, LIDAR, OPIR, hyperspectral (HSI) and/or multispectral (MSI) on board space or airborne platforms. Familiarity with current GEOINT systems, products and development, as well as the exploitation software packages will be necessary to develop test and verification methodologies. The candidate will work within an existing team to complete tasks as prioritized by government customers. Good communication and team work is necessary. A history of delivering results is critical to success. 

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) mission spans a diverse range of portfolios ranging from nuclear security, open science research, power administration, to environmental management. This enterprise comprises 97 entities - spread across 27 states - divided among 10 Program Offices, 19 Staff Offices, 4 Power Marketing Administrations, 19 Field Sites, 17 National Laboratories, and 4 Technology Centers - each uniquely structured to perform distinct missions. The DOE plans on issuing a multi-billion-dollar Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) entitled CIO Business Operations Support Services (CBOSS) which will encompass a substantial part of the Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) acquisitions through the DOE OCIO. CBOSS will offer support services in five (5) areas: Shared Services, General IT Support Services, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity & Analysis and Studies. The BPA is anticipated to provide a flexible ordering mechanism that any entity within DOE may use to create a customized IT Service Orders to fulfill their requirements. The Peraton facility located in Princess Anne, MD is actively seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Engineering team delivering world class solutions to a variety of DOD institutions.  This position directly reports to the Princess Anne Technical Operations Manager.    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   - Coordinates with engineering, production, operations, quality, and other departments to develop, implement, and maintain standard engineering and operations policies and standards across multiple suborbital rocket contracts. - Manage the facility risk management process. - Interface with internal and external customers. - Negotiate with customers to convert customer needs into system requirements and then manage requirements throughout the mission lifecycle. - Chair or act as panel member in milestone reviews such as Design Reviews or Pre-Ship reviews. - Work closely with technical operations group to oversee lessons learned program. - May be required to act as Technical Lead, Mission Manager, or Project Manager for suborbital rocket missions or programs. - Lead teams of multi-discipline engineers to accomplish a mission - Contribute to fast-paced proposal activities by providing technical writing input and/or coordinating pricing estimates. - Provide technical expertise to business development group - Coordinate with Business Development group to analyze existing capabilities and potential markets and recommend future business opportunities. - Travel will be required for milestone meetings at customer facilities, integration and launch operations, and conferences. - US Citizen and ability to obtain clearance
