In this position you will work with a small engineering team to develop target recognition algorithms for military applications. In this role you will utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to develop target recognition algorithms on both synthetic and real image data.
Responsibilities:
- Develop target recognition algorithms utilizing image processing techniques
- Develop advanced algorithms that exploit a variety of target signature phenomenology and processing techniques to find threats of interest and discard clutter
- Algorithms shall be extended to include additional, higher-fidelity target information such as velocity, orientation/aspect angle
- Train algorithms on both real world data and synthetic data generated from UnReal Engine or other 3D graphic toolsets.
- Implement algorithms onto real time processing hardware
- Perform ground truthing of captured data and replicate data through 3D graphics tool suites.
- Develop and manage large databases of labeled/annotated imagery of military relevant scenarios, to include real and synthetic data, which are suitable for training and testing of algorithms.
