Role and responsibility for this position:
As a hands-on Cybersecurity Research Scientist, you will be at the forefront of developing, testing, and fielding novel network cybersecurity appliances for the Department of Defense. Working with systems engineers and researchers, you will be responsible for researching, developing, configuring and integrating state-of-the-art cyber deception tools into enterprise-like environments, developing and managing a pipeline that integrates ML models with existing detection capabilities, and enabling transition of research prototypes to new environments. You will develop tools for facilitating management and operations of Peraton Labs’ cyber range product and for enhancing its capabilities. You will participate in the planning, setup, and conduct of cyber exercises using this cyber range, including red-teaming.

Role and responsibilities for this position:
The Senior Chinese-Linguist Analyst will manage the full lifecycle of advanced Chinese language exploitation, starting with curation of non-alerting collection of Chinese sources all the way through to high-quality analytic production in the furtherance of customer missions. You will perform one or more of the following tasks:
- Recruit and lead teams of junior linguist-analysts, overseeing their work and mentoring them
- Organize the non-alerting collection of publicly available information, either using tools or individually
- Collaborate with technical staff to ingest, process, and structure collected data for exploitation
- Exploit collected data to produce high-quality analytical deliverables
- Present analytical findings to analyst and executive audiences

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement state-of-the-art Deep Learning models to detect cyber security threats.
- Design and implement cyber deception technologies to deter adversaries

- Experience in protection & control system, OT networks, control system integration, communications, IEC61850 systems, testing and commissioning of such systems
