Candidate Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- This position is specifically for a Hardware in the Loop lab that runs real-time simulations, currently in a MATLAB/Simulink environment using xPc Target, with a need to migrate the current architecture to real-time Red Hawk Linux
- Provide expertise in electrical engineering best practices and hardware integration efforts
- Knowledgeable in various aspects of software control schemes for motion systems and real-time simulations
- Ability to quickly learn new hardware system functionality and corresponding controls software creation

- Perform analysis and data collected from M&S, and/or test events focused on U.S. Army's Tactical Network
- Process and understand raw data and distill to High Level Data and Visualization Products
- Understand the Tactical Network so as to ascertain impacts and effects of External Events/Activities to the Network

The Lead Electrical Engineer will engage in supporting projects related to tactical network technologies and products. The position will involve design, development, acquisition, test, and evaluation of communications technologies, products and solutions for application to current and future military networks and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support design concepts focused on leveraging communications and networking products for integration into military tactical networks.
- Work as part of a team executing Lab Based Risk Reduction (LBRR) and field exercise efforts focused in the areas of Information Assurance, Network Architecture/Testing and Mission Command applications and systems.
- Coordinate activities, resources, and priorities across functional teams to ensure stakeholder schedules, milestones, and deliverables are met.
- Work closely with leadership to understand organizational and mission priorities and translate message to actionable tasks for dissemination to team.
- Provide technical guidance to leadership and project teams as appropriate.
- Identify areas for improvement, automation, and modernization.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with people of various technical skill levels.
- Disseminate organizational and mission priorities into actionable tasks.
- Assign work based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments and the capabilities of employees.
