The Senior Resource Analyst creates and administers the client Cost Recovery/Fee for Service Model plus prepares client fiscal forecasts based on historical data and client project engineer and manager provided cost estimates.  Specific responsibilities of this position within the client’s resource team include:  building and maintaining a client Cost Recovery/Fee for Service Model based on client requirements and client current business practices, overseeing evolution of the Model as the client mission evolves, and administering application of this Model as an integral part of the client budget process.  The Cost Recovery/Fee for Service Model uses actual cost performance inputs, previous financial performance data, expense reports, and other financial inputs as available.  Additional responsibilities of this positon are executing funds that have been collected via the Model to fund various other source vehicles, monitoring and tracking implementation of client financial policies, preparing regular and special financial reports, maintaining historical records analyzing trends, tracking performance against schedule, and establishing cost rates and tracking fund types, which include amount and paying office information consistent with requirements.  Other responsibilities are recommending and interpreting client budgetary policies and procedures, preparing comparative evaluations of actual costs against budget funds, and determining rationale for variances between costs and the Cost Model.  Also the Senior Resource Analyst analyzes client provided resource, budget, and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls to include preparing regular and special cost model reports, and proactively identifying and documenting variances to provide actionable guidance and technical assistance to both client senior managers as well as project managers within the client organization. 

NASA’s Sounding Rocket Operations Contract is a sub-orbital space flight program located at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), a part of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). NSROC provides suborbital launch vehicles, payload development and field operations support to NASA’s Science Mission Directorate. The program enables the collection of Earth, Heliophysics and Astrophysics science. Peraton is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer, Power to support our NASA Sounding Rocket Operations Contract (NSROC) contract at the Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virgina.   As an Associate Electrical Engineer, Power you will be responsible for the design, testing, and field operations support related to sounding rocket power distribution systems.  Associate EE’s research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering.   Responsibilities: - Production and presentation of technical material in support of internal and external customer meetings. - Develop special purpose circuits to monitor vehicle or payload events, to establish compatible voltage or impedance levels, or to perform in-flight functions. - Utilize ground support equipment to test power system components. - Technical Knowledge of Battery Systems, including, but not limited to NiCad and Li-ion. - Understanding of Battery Charging systems and methods. - Manage the activities required to meet the objectives of assigned design and development projects. - Design, test, and support use of ordnance (class 1.3 and 1.4) activation systems. Working with NASA flight projects and under the directions of Structural Test engineers, a Senior Structural Test technician operations vibration, acoustic and Strength test facilities to test NASA hardware.  Structural Test technicians are involved in all aspects of test facility set-up, machining and flight hardware instrumentation.  The Test technicians following detailed procedures and prepare test documentation.  Extensive computer interaction is required for all aspects of testing.   Candidate Duties and Responsibilities Include: - Support Vibration, Strength and Acoustic testing of space flight hardware by operating control systems interfacing with facilities and measurement transducers - Set-up NASA test facilities supporting static load, acoustic, vibration, centrifuge, and modal testing using manlifts, forklifts and cranes - Using mills and lathes to modify facilities parts - Install accelerometers and strain gages on spacecraft subsystems and structures - Connect transducers such as accelerometers, LVDT’s, force gages, strain gages and load cells to the appropriate signal conditioners and data acquisition systems - Process the collected data and convert to spreadsheets and .pdf files - Housekeeping immediate work areas and overall test facilities - Operate Man-lifts.   Peraton is prime contractor for the NEE program which is a SE&I services contract which include: project engineering, architecture engineering, requirements engineering and interface definition, schedule planning and analysis, security engineering, systems/segments development product ownership, systems integration/test & verification, enterprise risk and readiness management, transition to operations, and operational validation and capability and product improvements.   Due to growing demand of services, the program requires an additional SE&I Manager to lead a Peraton Sensor SE&I Team. The SE&I Manager provides functional management of the Peraton personnel, including, career planning and development, performance assessment, merit planning, staff recognition, disciplinary actions, and career and technical counseling for the functional team.
