Peraton is seeking a Part Time Assembly Screening Technician to join our team of diverse, qualified individuals.  The Assembly Screening Technician works at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS.  The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. Examples: repairing printed circuit boards, electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to component level. The CRF provides depot level maintenance for essential automation, mechanization, retail and bulk mail processing systems used in all mail processing and retail installations.   Our Assembly Screening Technician performs a variety of non-complex assembly and disassembly tasks to perform functional tests for quality of product according to specifications. Specific tasks include:  - Operate and test equipment to determine whether it is working properly per diagram, written or verbal instruction and will identify issue (where applicable) by selecting, verifying and identifying needed material - Perform non-complex modifications or repair of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical assemblies. The candidate will work within an existing team to complete tasks as prioritized by government customers. Good communication and team work is necessary.
