Peraton is seeking a Mobile Device Reverse Engineer to support a critical mission of consequence within our Cyber Mission Business Unit in Annapolis Junction, MD.  In this position you will perform a combination of software design, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research.   Responsibilities may include: - Develop software capabilities taking into account the underlying hardware on which they run - Optimize algorithms and software implementations in order to meet requirements such as binary size, utilization, and performance - Perform Agile development, accurately estimating the time to complete tasks - Respond to time-sensitive operational requirements - Understand how malware is detected by personal security products and/or network monitoring and methods to evade such detection - Develop and execute comprehensive testing of software products (e.g. unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests) - Develop software implants that have network communications and the ability to persist across reboots - Document software designs, explain performance tradeoffs made, and decompose high-level designs into specific software development tasks - Develop, find flaws in, and modify complex algorithms that span multiple layers of abstraction - Recommend new technologies and processes to achieve assigned goals
