The Customer Support Specialist will be a member of the Department of State (DOS) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). The CAEIO Program provides IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.   Responsibilities As a Customer Support Specialist, you will deliver customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues and meeting end-users' needs. Here are some of the primary responsibilities you will have as a Customer Support Specialist: - Provide remote phone, email and chat troubleshooting support for application, desktop, network, and mobile device issues (incidents), and customer requests (for example, password resets). - Make outboard service calls to potential customers. - Record all information accurately in the CRM ticketing tool. - Resolve issues using the Knowledgebase. - Escalate tickets promptly to appropriate support teams by assigning proper ticket priority and verifying customer names, contact information, location, issue, device impacted, error codes, and attaching screen shots. - Work in one or multiple work queues over various customer contact channels. - When new solutions are derived to resolve issues, provide documentation to Service Desk leadership and Knowledge Managers to have new Knowledgebase articles created. - Ensure compliance with all government policies, procedures and timelines for ticket escalation and resolution. - Collaborate with Customer Support team colleagues and other members of the CAEIO team. - Demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to take on challenges by performing tasks not listed above.

The Peraton facility located in Princess Anne, MD is actively seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Engineering team delivering world class solutions to a variety of DOD institutions.  This position directly reports to the Princess Anne Technical Operations Manager.    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   - Coordinates with engineering, production, operations, quality, and other departments to develop, implement, and maintain standard engineering and operations policies and standards across multiple suborbital rocket contracts. - Manage the facility risk management process. - Interface with internal and external customers. - Negotiate with customers to convert customer needs into system requirements and then manage requirements throughout the mission lifecycle. - Chair or act as panel member in milestone reviews such as Design Reviews or Pre-Ship reviews. - Work closely with technical operations group to oversee lessons learned program. - May be required to act as Technical Lead, Mission Manager, or Project Manager for suborbital rocket missions or programs. - Lead teams of multi-discipline engineers to accomplish a mission - Contribute to fast-paced proposal activities by providing technical writing input and/or coordinating pricing estimates. - Provide technical expertise to business development group - Coordinate with Business Development group to analyze existing capabilities and potential markets and recommend future business opportunities. - Travel will be required for milestone meetings at customer facilities, integration and launch operations, and conferences. - US Citizen and ability to obtain clearance

Peraton is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support NASA’s Sounding Rocket Operations Contract (NSROC), which is a sub-orbital space flight program located at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), a part of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Wallops Island, VA is a remote location.    NSROC provides suborbital launch vehicles, payload development and field operations support to NASA’s Science Mission Directorate. The program enables the collection of Earth, Heliophysics and Astrophysics science.   In this role, you will be the Telemetry Engineer for sounding rocket missions. The application will support system development throughout the entire mission life cycle including launch at remote sites. Travel is required; typical travel to the remote launch site lasts 6 to 8 weeks. The position will require an individual to be living locally to support efforts on base as well as ability to support required telework. You will work on a variety of projects, typically multiple at any one time, and will require an individual able to work individually and in a team environment.    As an Electrical Engineer, Telemetry, you will be responsible for the design, testing and field operations support related to sounding rocket telemetry systems. You will be involved in research, development, design, and testing of electrical components, equipment, and systems; applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering. You will be responsible for the production and presentation of technical material in support of internal and external customer meetings.   Responsibilities Include: - Production and presentation of technical material in support of internal and external customer meetings. - Design PCM encoder matrices and measurement lists. - Development of mission telemetry requirements. - Utilize ground support equipment to test telemetry system components to include PCM encoders, RF transmitters and antennas. - May serve as the lead electrical engineer for Sounding Rocket missions. - Apply programming and computer application skills in the development of software in C, C , C#, and Matlab. - Contribute to the development of new engineering products or specialty products, and specifications. - Participate in technical interchange discussions with customers and experimenters. - Manage the activities required to meet the objectives of assigned design and development projects. - Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) - Quality Management System - Ordnance Awareness - Supporting the integration of, and transition to new hardware and software systems, and generating related documentation.

In this position with Peraton Labs you will serve as a member of an experienced engineering team responsible for development of next generation counter unmanned aerial system (CUAS) solutions.  Your role will be to develop the real-time Linux / C++ based software which controls all aspects of the CUAS precision targeting system.  This position will require approximately 15% travel to various military test ranges across the US and internationally.   What You'll Get to DO: - Develop C++ software in a Red Hat Linux environment.  You will be responsible developing modern, real-time C++ code within our team’s application infrastructure.  You will use Conan to manage software dependencies, Gitlab for distributed source code control, Jira for issue tracking, and CMAKE for build configuration.  - Develop and test interfaces to a wide variety of external systems.  Your software will interface with the external environment through a number of protocols including ethernet, CAN bus, RS232, RS422, RS485, discretes, and USB.  You will develop implementations of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) which enable your software to perform motion control, consume targeting data, and control external weapon systems.  Interface testing will be conducted via simulators of external components running in our System Integration Laboratory (SIL). - Travel to support field tests.  Your software will generally be tested at a live-fire test event.  You will travel to and setup your system and its required support equipment – to include military systems / weapons.  You will support test data collection, system and software troubleshooting, and may participate in the test by serving as the test operator for your software and related systems.

As a Principal Scientist within Peraton Labs, the candidate will lead development and implementation of new signal processing algorithms for wireless systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work at theoretical algorithm development while also being hands-on to write software and analyze data.
