Peraton is hiring a Field Site Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit located in Jessup, MD. As a systems engineeron our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide Engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at the customer site in Misawa, Japan. As a Field Site Systems Engineer on our team you will provide Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services and guidance, IT and real infrastructure improvements, facility renovations, and transitions to new operations support to a U.S. Government customer in Misawa, Japan.  This Field Engineer will support Power, Space & Cooling (PSC) triage processes; Enterprise data center planning and integration; Strategic Requirements Planning; Integrated Master Schedule reconciliation; and Configuration/ Change Management (CM) processes. They will work with other regional sites and with customer headquarter deployment organizations to establish, oversee and enforce regional standard CM practices and processes.  The systems engineer will assist with deployment integration planning, and support management of deployments, system configurations, and associated equipment and maintain control of site CM documentation to include floor plans, facility infrastructure baselines and operational baselines.  The contractor will collaborate across the region to share tools, promote continuous process improvement, provide feedback and conduct lessons learned activities to standardize Systems Engineering across the Extended Enterprise, developing SE&I technical artifacts. Duties will include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost/ risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems, as well as conceptualization, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. The SE will also perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
