- Manage program resources with the responsibility for overall performance from a financial, technical, schedule, contractual, and customer satisfaction
- Communicate policies, purposes and goals of the program and building/maintaining a positive work culture
- Develop, track, and ensure plans and schedules are followed, develop solutions to program challenges, and seek opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction
- Directly interface with and support the NASA program office and other customers as needed to coordinate all program activities and assess performance of the contract

What you’ll do…
· Work with other engineering groups in an Agile environment to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.
· Create software test and automated test cases, perform application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues.
· Analyze and report the test results.
· Test high performance and large-scale immersive visualization systems that discover and exploit social networks.
· Perform software verification testing in three separate environments.
· Review and provide analysis to test documentation.
· Generate testing artifacts and summary test reports.
· Assist in the review and analysis of verification methods and results.

Position description:
Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator IV candidate to support an Intelligence Community customer in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring systems are fully operating at high availability, rapidly troubleshooting and resolving systems issues, and handling tickets and calls from the customer. The position is at a customer site and frequent customer interaction is required. The candidate will work closely with government Customers, contractor Project Lead, Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Application Vendor, and Application End Users.
- The candidate will perform daily system monitoring and monthly Patching.
- Troubleshoot network and application performance issues and recommend appropriate action. The candidate when tasked, will rapidly troubleshoot issues, resolving systems issues via a ticketing tracking system. If systems issues and circumstances warrant it, the candidate must also be willing to report to customer location during off-hours.
- Responsible for deploying software patches on a monthly basis at the customer location during off-hours.
- Understand system hardening and security through the implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Patching.
- Have familiarity with SQL Server database environments on Windows servers.
- Responsible for creating or revising existing documentation.
- Must be able to communicate complex system configurations simply and clearly in documentation.
Create/revise, but not limited to, the documentation as follows:
- Daily standard operating procedures (SOP), Security Test Procedures (STP) based off a Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), System Install Procedures (SIP), System Administration Guide (SAG), System User Manual (SUM), and/or Interface Control Document (ICD).

- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Trouble-shoot, monitor, and resolve system issues as required to maintain operations
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Build, maintain, and deploy client and server systems.
- Develop and maintain efficient/automated client system support.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Work with an Information Assurance team to ensure compliance with Authorizations to Operate (ATOs)
- Liaise with COTs vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
