• Plans, leads, and independently executes continual improvement activities and initiatives within the SIE across the Enterprise, Components, and TSOCs IAW, and using, industry standards such as ISO 20000, ISO 27000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe™), and Lean techniques.
• Supports the Transition-in by collaborating with USSOCOM ITSM staff to perform a detailed Service Management Assessment (SMS) in order to baseline current processes, personnel skills, and supporting technology; identify opportunity gaps against the standard; identify “quick win” improvements; and collaborate with USSOCOM to prioritize future ITSM optimizations and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinates and collaborates with the Continual Improvement Lead and the QAM to manage multiple new or existing process improvement initiatives based on the contract Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Coordinates and collaborates with Service Owners and Service Owner/Site Leads and identified government representatives to obtain feedback via face-to-face meetings and/or online customer satisfaction surveys.
• Manages the development and/or modification of processes, procedures, templates, and other process artifacts for organizational process improvement efforts.
• Manages and independently executes the development and/or modification of processes, procedures, templates, and other process artifacts for organizational process improvement efforts.
• Provides process engineering technical support expertise to production activities and plant projects to improve EOM operations.
• Models business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e. use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.
• Analyzes processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment; makes recommendations for high-value high-impact automation opportunities to the Automation Infusion Team.
• Uses Lean management principles and metrics to support Service Owners and Service Owner/Site Leads in linking projects to USSOCOM strategic operational objectives. Performs targeted Lean Management assessments using Lean/Six Sigma tools and processes upon request by EOM leadership, Service Owners, and ITOps Service Owner/Site Leads.
• Uses analyses to develop recommended operational improvements, lowering costs and improving customer service.
