  Peraton is seeking a Microwave Field Engineer to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA at our Fort Irwin, CA location. The Microwave Engineer will perform hands on troubleshooting, repair, reverse engineering and equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) at Deep Space Stations and high-power transmitter test facility. This position is an important member of the team working to achieve increased antenna availability and reliability metrics.   Responsibilities - Supervise the implementation of Engineering Changes for all equipment the SSE is responsible for. - Interface with appropriate Operations Engineering personnel as well as JPL engineering. - Must have working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, ladder logic diagrams, PLC programs and programming. - Knowledge of the UNIX operating system, test equipment as well as the site-specific System Performance Test equipment and Software. - Able to recognize potential hazards and follow all safety equipment procedures. - Must be able to follow applicable regulatory agency and site-specific guidelines and to properly document all job-related activities. - Provide technical guidance and training to and provide direct supervision of the activities of hourly personnel and perform all duties consistent with this classification as assigned. - Interface with internal and external customers - Analyze problems and direct repair. - Document corrective action and analysis of problems using the DRMS and MAXIMO data bases. - Assist operations as required. - Direct implementation of Engineering Changes.   Peraton is seeking a Warehouse/Stock Clerk to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA in Fort Irwin, CA. The Deep Space Network is NASA’s international array of giant radio antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions, plus a few that orbit Earth. The DSN also provides radar and radio astronomy observations that improve our understanding of the solar system and the larger universe. The antennas of the Deep Space Network are the indispensable link to explorers venturing beyond the moon. They provide the crucial connection for commanding our spacecraft and receiving their never before seen images and scientific information on Earth, propelling our understanding of the universe, our solar system and ultimately, our place within it. Under general direction/guidance from the Material Planning/Logistics Supervisor, the ideal candidate will receive, store and distribute materials, tools, equipment and products using such equipment as fork lift, pallet jack and platform truck in support of the NASA/JPL Warehouse. Peraton requires Web/Portal Developers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.   The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and  common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.   Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Establishes, updates, and analyzes system authentication protocols ensuring systems are optimized and prevent waste of resources. • Makes required modifications and upgrades as required using solid ITIL change management processes to storage equipment and software. • Documents processes, procedures, upgrades, and the resolution of problems • Upgrades software, monitors performance, and evaluates trends and needs • Manages, transforms, and provides user access to large datasets • Installs, configures, supports, and maintains SANs and associated technology • Administers storage networks, servers, and their associated schedules • Supports team responses to incidents, reconfigurations, installations, or other physical changes • Gathers and performs troubleshooting on systems performance data from tools such as OS and application logs, Splunk and RavenVision. • Develops and validates end-user self-help guides and processes, • Identifies opportunities to leverage automation artifacts to improve consistency of support and speed to deploy and resolve issues. • Maintains system and operational documentation and schematic diagrams (using tools such as Microsoft Word and Visio). • Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.   Locations: - Hurlburt Field, FL *Positions are contingent on contract award.* **Salary range is based on geographical location.** #SITEC2023   Benefits:  At Peraton, our benefits are designed to help keep you at your best, beyond the work you do with us daily.
