As a VMwre Infrastructure Engineer for Peraton, you'll help automate the deployment, maintenance and operation of USSTRATCOM's virtual infrastructure (VMware).
What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain the VMware suite of products (vSphere, vRealize, VCF, NSX, etc).
- Deploy and maintain VMware products using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager.
- Integrate various products with VMware Identity Manager with two factor authentication via methods such as SAML.
- Maintain vRealize Operations Manager, Endpoint Operations Agents, and management packs.
- Maintain vRealize LogInsight, LogInsight agents, and content packs.
- Work with various teams and customers to develop and create dashboards and reports in vROps and vRLI. Maintain vRealize Automation solution and integrations.

- Strong capability to troubleshoot blueprints and workflows written with PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python. Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST API. Familiar with RHEL, Windows Server, PhotonOS, SUSE, NSX, Infoblox, ARS, RHEL Satellite, MS SCCM, and Cisco ISE.

Additionally, mid-level Requirements Engineers maintain, manage and ensure change control of these same requirements following established configuration management processes, leveraging requirements management applications such as DOORS Next Generation.
Duties include:

Peraton is looking for a mid-senior level Information Systems Security Engineer to coordinate, design, develop, implement, secure and maintain IT activities for the Space Exploration Network Services and Evolution (SENSE) contract with NASA. The position is located at the NASA White Sands Complex in Las Cruces, NM.
Peraton is the prime contractor for NASA at the White Sands Complex (WSC) near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Operating here are two functionally identical satellite ground terminals: The White Sands Ground Terminal, and the Second TDRSS Ground Terminal. These ground terminals ensure uninterrupted communications between various ground stations, NASA’s orbiting fleet of Tracking and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS), customer spacecraft (satellites), and the computer systems that support such spacecraft. WSC serves as an interface for distributing satellite data to control centers and scientists who then use the daily influx of data to expand our ever-growing knowledge of the Earth and the universe.
This position will be responsible for:
- Maintains an Enterprise level Information Technology system of access control, intrusion detection, and the associated physical, electronic, and technical security elements.

Peraton is seeking a Microwave Field Engineer to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA at our Fort Irwin, CA location.
The Microwave Engineer will perform hands on troubleshooting, repair, reverse engineering and equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) at Deep Space Stations and high-power transmitter test facility. This position is an important member of the team working to achieve increased antenna availability and reliability metrics.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the implementation of Engineering Changes for all equipment the SSE is responsible for.
- Interface with appropriate Operations Engineering personnel as well as JPL engineering.
- Must have working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, ladder logic diagrams, PLC programs and programming.
- Knowledge of the UNIX operating system, test equipment as well as the site-specific System Performance Test equipment and Software.

Peraton is seeking a Warehouse/Stock Clerk to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA in Fort Irwin, CA.
The Deep Space Network is NASA’s international array of giant radio antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions, plus a few that orbit Earth. The DSN also provides radar and radio astronomy observations that improve our understanding of the solar system and the larger universe. The antennas of the Deep Space Network are the indispensable link to explorers venturing beyond the moon. They provide the crucial connection for commanding our spacecraft and receiving their never before seen images and scientific information on Earth, propelling our understanding of the universe, our solar system and ultimately, our place within it.
Under general direction/guidance from the Material Planning/Logistics Supervisor, the ideal candidate will receive, store and distribute materials, tools, equipment and products using such equipment as fork lift, pallet jack and platform truck in support of the NASA/JPL Warehouse. They will also conduct physical inventories and assist customers in material identification.
