Peraton is seeking a CNO Firmware Developer with hard drive firmware development experience to support a critical mission of consequence within our Cyber Mission Business Unit in Annapolis Junction, MD.  In this position you will perform a combination of software design, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research.   Responsibilities may include: - Develop software capabilities taking into account the underlying hardware on which they run - Optimize algorithms and software implementations in order to meet requirements such as binary size, utilization, and performance - Perform Agile development, accurately estimating the time to complete tasks - Respond to time-sensitive operational requirements - Understand how malware is detected by personal security products and/or network monitoring and methods to evade such detection - Develop and execute comprehensive testing of software products (e.g. unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests) - Develop software implants that have network communications and the ability to persist across reboots - Document software designs, explain performance tradeoffs made, and decompose high-level designs into specific software development tasks - Develop, find flaws in, and modify complex algorithms that span multiple layers of abstraction - Recommend new technologies and processes to achieve assigned goals

Peraton is seeking an Industrial Systems Engineer to join our team of diverse, qualified individuals. The idea candidate will work at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS. The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. Examples: repairing printed circuit boards, electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to component level. The CRF provides depot level maintenance for essential automation, mechanization, retail and bulk mail processing systems used in all mail processing and retail installations. This position is an on-site position with no ability to work remote   Our Industrial Systems Engineer performs a variety of engineering research and or product development in a test engineering discipline such as electronic, electrical, systems and mechanical engineering. Ability to use advanced theory, mathematical, scientific, or engineering principles to solve problems, conduct testing, prepare documentation, create applications, or devices in the completion of their work. Senior Network Engineer to be part of a team responsible for the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization and maintenance of LAN/WAN/Video/Voice/desktop infrastructure.
