Our team supports technical solutions associated with the collection, processing, and exploitation of assured, relevant, and timely oceanographic, meteorological, hydrographic, precise time and astrometric information for the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC). Candidates who join our team play an integral role in the design, development, and innovative modernization of the IT infrastructure used to provide meteorology and oceanography support to warfighters afloat and ashore. We will maintain, upgrade, and modernize the IT infrastructure to include engineering, software development, administration, and data management.

Must be a US Citizen and hold a DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret clearance preferred
This is full time on site in Stennis, MS or Monterey, CA with potential telework in the future.
This work includes but is not limited to:
- Collect, analyze, and organize technical information required for preparation of documentation, procedures, user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, reports, or any other deliverables and documents.
- Compose and finalize technical documentation in the style, content, and format required by standards using input received from technical personnel.
- Prepare and edit documentation incorporating information provided.
- Maintain current documentation libraries.
- Conduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminology.
- Translate technical information into clear, readable documents used by technical and non-technical personnel.
- Proofreading, including grammar and spelling.
- Able to work independently
