Peraton is hiring a Critical Systems and Networks Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Systems Engineer on our team you will provide systems engineering and technical services to the mission customer’s critical networks and systems effort. You will gather and review technical documentation, facilitate conversations between the service providers and product owners, and meet with those product owners to discuss and document infrastructure requirements. You will support requirements gathering, process design and implementation, and CONOPS development. You will also provide engineering services to assess the technical viability of programs and related efforts, to include software requirements definition, test software validation and verification processes, and implementation of the integration activities to ensure security of critical Federal systems. Peraton is seeking a mid-senior level Systems Administrator to support NASA’s Space Exploration Network Services and Evolution (SENSE) contract. This position is located at the NASA White Sands Complex (WSC) in Las Cruces, NM.     Peraton is the prime contractor for NASA at the White Sands Complex (WSC) near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Operating here are two functionally identical satellite ground terminals: The White Sands Ground Terminal, and the Second TDRSS Ground Terminal. As a systems engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide Engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at the customer site. As an ISE Support Systems Engineer on our team you will support, and work closely with, the customer ISE performing a wide variety of tasks requiring a strong systems engineering background and experience as well as a foundation in architecture and senior staff level communications.    Responsibilities include: developing, documenting and/or analyzing operational and system architectures based on the UAF framework using the Cameo tool; providing “as required” support to the ISE on various tasks addressing the orchestration and integration of multiple programs, organizations, capabilities, products and services required to achieve desired outcomes; and managing more junior systems engineers, as assigned. Supporting the transition of capabilities and the decommissioning of obsolete systems will be one of the priority tasks.
