Peraton is seeking a full-time Malware Analyst to join our USCYBERCOM team located in Fort Meade, MD.   Location: On-site at Fort Meade, MD.     In this role you will: - Represent USCYBERCOM to provide requirements and integration support for malware analysis. - Analyze and understand the behavior of malware using dynamic malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques. - Create in-depth malware reports to aid in the identification and mitigation of future cyber threats. - Support malware analysis efforts required for the delivery of Mission Assurance (MA) products as part of the effort to facilitate, evaluate, and report on malware in support of cyberspace operations. - Provide updates and report on the status of assigned Workflow Management System (WMS) malware tasks and participate in technical working groups and discussions to influence recommendations to malware analysis and exploitation strategy. - Participate and facilitate System Security Plan (SSP) development and certification and accreditation support for new malware analysis systems. Chief Engineer, System Engineering and Integration (SE&I). Leads systems engineering teams to design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems projects and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Supports engineering synchronization across the Department of Defense strategic and theater missile defense enterprise ($1B+ program).   Leads the development of quantifiable requirements, descriptions, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Leads high level product development strategies for system requirement specifications and works across other engineering disciplines to drive the lower-level detailed implementation.   Manages technical problem geographically dispersed sets where travel (up to 20%) is necessary to support a 24x7x365 global operation. Provides strong leadership to achieve service level objectives agreed upon with the customer.  Leads the enterprise services delivery team to understand the missile defense community and manages a broad profile of risks in a dynamic operational environment.   The chief engineer monitors and addresses performance and delivery metrics across multiple large and small business sub-contracts and government task orders with a sense of urgency.  Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. In this position with Peraton Labs, you will serve as the Radar System Engineer and Subject Matter Expert for efforts related to Precision Fires Radars (PFR) integrated with Armament Systems.  You will work strategically with Radar Team members, the Radar Team Lead, Government Branch Chief, Senior Government Leadership, and PM/Customer reps to execute System and Technical Engineering tasks for various PFR programs. The candidate will support PFR system development and integration through working with an interdisciplinary group of scientists and engineers, interfacing with IPT members from Academia, Industry, and Government, reviewing technical design materials, providing recommendations, conducting analysis tasks on advanced signal processing techniques and radar data, documenting project plans, system engineering artifacts, derived subsystem requirements and test planning and execution/support.   Responsibilities include: - Planning, implementing, and pro-actively correcting issues related to performance and technical risk management for PFR efforts - Providing support and subject matter expertise in various PFR disciplines related to the design, development, and testing of PFR systems and integration with armament systems, including high accuracy ground based radar systems tracking projectiles, threats (for some missions) - Enabling advanced capabilities through a Radar to Munition Datalink for Command guidance and Navigation support - Developing and utilizing modeling and simulation tools related to radar systems, signal processing, and tracker algorithms - Conducting technical analysis to evaluate performance of existing radar systems, suggesting methods of improvement of radar performance, and assessing future system performance in new mission areas
