Peraton is seeking a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The Cybersecurity Engineer shall serve as a subject matter expert on Cybersecurity/Information Assurance activities based upon a comprehensive knowledge of the principles, policies such as DoD Instruction 8500.01, DoD Instruction 8510.01, AR 25-1 and AR 25-2, pertinent laws, regulatory requirements and procedures applicable to each PEO program management office, PEO headquarters staff, and other external organizations. This position is located at APG, MD.    What you'll do: The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsbile for the following but not limited to: - Assist the Designated Approving Authority (DAA/AO) in the review of Cybersecurity packages (DICAP/RMF) for content and presentation of evidence of proper implementation of Cybersecurity requirements. Provide feedback and consultation to Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and assist them in getting the Approval to Operate (ATO), Interim Approval to Operate (IATO), Interim Authority to Test (IATT), and Approval to Connect (ATC) packages to the PEO standard. - Assist PMs in developing Cybersecurity Strategies (CSSs) as required by the Clinger-Cohen Act and DoD Acquisition policy, coordinate these CSSs with HQDA for Army CIO/G6 Approval in order to support major milestone decisions. - Respond to tasking from HQDA, PEO IEW&S Staff, CECOM Staff, other agencies, and Warfighters in the field as they relate to Cybersecurity for PEO IEW&S Tactical and Developmental systems. The ideal candidate will be an experienced with agile methodology experience to join a team that supports web-based loan processing financial applications. Peraton provides management and technical support for NASA’s scientific balloon program which supports enabling science missions for NASA and universities across the United States and foreign scientific communities. Scientific balloon missions provide researchers inexpensive, relatively quick, long duration access to near space altitudes and environments. Balloon missions cost orders of magnitude less than satellite missions and provide platforms for heavy experiments (some greater than 5000-lbs) to operate for weeks and even months. Balloon missions have provided significant science theories and discoveries about cosmic rays, gamma ray and x-ray astronomy, optical and UV astronomy, atmospheric sciences, and cosmic microwave background studies.   Our staff are located at the Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility (CSBF) in Palestine, TX where we design, analyze, build and assembly the support hardware and balloon gondola payloads for the missions. We launch the balloons from locations within the United States (Texas, and New Mexico) and around the world including Antarctica, Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia. Our engineers, meteorologists, and technician staff support the launches and balloon and payload recoveries in the US and many worldwide locations. Peraton’s NASA Balloon Operations Contract (NBOC) program is seeking a Meteorologist to join our team in Palestine, Texas.   We are seeking a Meteorologist candidate to support NASA Balloon missions from pre-campaign mission planning to pre-launch weather briefings, and throughout launch, ascent, float, and termination phases. - Develop pre-campaign stratospheric wind climatologies, and minimum altitude assessments using balloon performance analysis for use in mission planning. - Provide weather briefings in support of outside payload compatibility tests and prior to launch attempts. - Provide pre-launch predicted ascent and float trajectories. - During launch attempts, provide complete on-site meteorological support for all launch operations, including pilot balloon observations. - Provide meteorological support during ascent and float phases of launches, including updated precipitation and cloud forecasts and stratospheric wind predictions. The AET Operator will participate with the AL, TL in the planning phase of the AET Assessment activities.  They will apply technical and professional skillsets to lead the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) and support the scoping section of the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) which consists of interviews with individual or group SMEs to complete the Rules of Engagement (ROE) activities, achieve clarification, or lead to the location of evidence.  They communicate and share information gained during the TEM with the entire assessment team.  They work directly with the AL, TL and organization POC to successfully plan and execute the assessment, as well as notify and support the assessment services.  They participate in assessment activities and perform the adversarial emulation testing tasks assigned by the AL, TL.  Participate in the post-execution out brief to the POC and SMEs, to present preliminary observations as a result of the TEM.  Contribute to the draft of the AET Assessment reports.  Identify potential improvements to the target organization security posture that are related to organizational system(s) use and interconnections, as well as identifying strengths and weaknesses in incident management capabilities that are applicable to protecting and sustaining the organizational system(s).

Seeking a motivated IMAGE SCIENTIST to support product evaluations, algorithm quality studies, new product initializations, or develop image quality equations to quantify the expected quality of an imaging system. Candidate should have a working understanding and practical application of modeling components of the image path to include sensor, detector, atmospheric, and material properties. Imaging systems could include panchromatic (pan), RADAR, LIDAR, OPIR, hyperspectral (HSI) and/or multispectral (MSI) on board space or airborne platforms. Familiarity with current GEOINT systems, products and development, as well as the exploitation software packages will be necessary to develop test and verification methodologies. The candidate will work within an existing team to complete tasks as prioritized by government customers. Good communication and team work is necessary. A history of delivering results is critical to success.
