Expert Systems Integrators support the Government by leading and overseeing the integrity of the NSG/ASG systems-of-systems enterprise.  They lead and oversee planning, implementation approaches, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for total cloud services, systems or subsystems using defined processes and tools.  They provide end-to-end system development life cycle support to the program. Peraton is seeking a motivated Senior Communications Engineer with Audio Visual / Technology Infrastructure experience to join our team on-site in Washington, DC., providing information management and information technology (IT) support for critical technical work to operate and maintain the classified networks for executive-level government leaders.    The Ideal candidate will posses experience with the ThinkLogical AV/IT System.   Our unique program delivers high-profile, technical infrastructure support for our customer and its relative nodes over the world.  The team provides Personnel Management, Systems Engineering and administration, Software Engineering (SharePoint Development and Project Management/Systems Integration support), and Facility Management (Voice/Video Network Integration and Engineering) solutions.   The Senior Communications Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to: - Provide Tier 2 support for break and fix, troubleshooting issues, patching, and escalating to various vendors when needed; and Tier 3 support to assist with reprogramming systems when needed or requested.     - Manage technical issues, change requests and user interface tailoring, hardware swaps/upgrades, software updates, and patches to the complete ThinkLogical AV/IT system, ancillary devices, and software. - Manage ThinkLogical servers/transmitters/receivers/software  - Manage Crestron frames/touch panels/interfaces  - Manage Conference Room and Watch Floor, to include: - Monitors  - Speakers  - Microphones   - Wall Clocks  - Mounted display boards and clocks  - Any non-networked hardware related to the AV System  **Please note, support to this task will be 24x7, shared amongst the AV/IT team**   **This role requires 100% on-site support M-F**   **All contractor personnel supporting this program are considered mission essential, emergency mission essential and weather emergency essential**

Peraton is seeking a Spring & Summer 2024 Mechanical Engineering Intern in our Wallops Island, VA location to support our NASA Sounding Rocket Operations Contract (NSROC) program. NSROC implements the work of the NASA Sounding Rocket program (NSRP) to fully design, build, integrate, test, and fly sounding rockets via expendable suborbital rockets to study a host of scientific objectives.    Interns at NSROC are given the opportunity to work on flight hardware and flight designs including design, analysis, and testing, as well as apply theoretical knowledge to solve real world engineering problems.   This position is on-site daily at the Wallops Island, VA facility with no telework/remote capabilities.   Responsibilities: - Apply theoretical knowledge relating to statics, dynamics, strengths of materials, and mechanical design in the design and analysis of flight and GSE structures as assigned by supervisor or mentor. - Creation of manufacturing documents such as part and assembly drawings and Model Based Definition products utilizing SolidWorks. - Work with Engineers, Technicians, and machinists in creating and updating technical documents. - Coordinate with Production and Machine Shop personnel for fabrication of designed products. - Maintain an engineering daily logbook and organize digital files for each project. - Practice and learn competent technical professional behavior including memorandum writing, email and calendar usage via Outlook, and report weekly activities to supervisor via status reports. - Present a capstone presentation at end of term to Senior Management. - If required, assist with testing in the Environmental Testing Lab. - Perform related duties as assigned.
