As an Event & Incident Management Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting outage resolution and event and incident management process, procedure, execution, and documentation.  You will lead outage response activities to coordinate Tier 2 and Tier 3 team activities and complete leadership reporting. You will also maintain and report Event and Incident response metrics and closely coordinate with other IT Service Management process leads particularly Event, Incident and Problem Management.   Responsibilities include the following: - Support Event and Incident Management Coordinators in executing overall event and incident management processes in support of hosting management - Support on-call incident response in support of Incident Management coordinator including:  Incident creation, prioritization, assignment, queue management, escalation and resolution in order to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible minimizing the disruption to a customers of a multi-site Datacenter. - Support event identification, system configuration, and support training and execution of event management processes with Event Management Coordinator - Conduct event and incident management trend analysis, error identification, and process improvement activities - Analyze and provide input for event and incident management processes, procedures and metrics to identify service improvement and staff opportunities for       improvement and efficiency.  - Support training requirements for event and incident management - Serve as a Backup/augmentee for TAC shift members when needed for surge requirements - Serve as a backup to the Incident and Event Managment Coordinators - Support after hours/weekend on-call requirements (rotational with Incident Management Coordinator and Incident Manager)

Peraton is seeking motivated Satellite Operations Controllers in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to support our Front Range Operations and Sustainment Team (FROST) program, and to provide satellite support service to our mission critical Government customer   FROST conducts real time on-orbit support, launch ascent support and End-of-Life operations for all NOPS supported operations. You will provide the NRO with a single operational and engineering interface to the Satellite Control Network (SCN) and perform Facility duties as required. Most of the work is performed at Schriever Garrison. This position performs satellite operations and health checks on satellite systems. - Establish voice, messaging, and data communications for multiple-satellite programs of varying priorities and classifications. - Configuration and monitoring of displays for computer and network equipment during normal mission operations. - Multi-program coordination and scheduling using custom software tools. - Determination of any anomalous condition and providing corrective actions as required. - Generation of downtime reports and other associated documentation for operational outages. - Support to various operations status, engineering review, and problem boards. - Identification of areas of concern, issues, inefficiencies, and other non-value-added activities, as well as proved recommended solutions, as appropriate. - Some travel may be required. - Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
