Specialize in analyzing and breaking cryptographic algorithms and systems. Identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in existing encryption schemes and develop strategies to decrypt them. Assist Digital Forensic Examiners in evaluating encryption found in mobile devices and respective applications. Assist in decoding encryption schemes and reversing malicious code. Evaluate encryption or tampering of computer software and hardware. Develop scripts or code required to decrypt data. Develop applications to leverage GPU clusters. Write technical reports on findings.
Experience creating APIs to access cryptographic algorithms. Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, principles, techniques, and protocols. Identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in cryptographic systems.
Build and maintain secure cryptographic libraries for internal and external customers. Develops new methods, and playbooks, as well as sophisticated scripts, applications, and tools, and trains others in their use.
Reverse engineer software, firmware, and hardware components to understand their functionality and identify potential security flaws. Develop tools and techniques for reverse engineering and analysis.

The international assignment at USFK/JFMO provides experiences that most spectrum mangers will never obtain from a stateside assignment. You will be recognized as the technical expert that provides guidance, timelines, and residence authorizations for U.S service components.
Key requirements that a candidate must have and be able to demonstrate are:
- Having experience with Spectrum 21 software tools.
- Having experience with the Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO)
- Being familiar with the Standard Frequency Action Format (SFAF)
- Being familiar with the Application for Foreign Spectrum Support (DD-1494)
- Receive (OJT) with PR-200 Directional Finding equipment.
