  • Overview

    Peraton Corporation has a great opportunity for a Flight Safety Tool Integrator, supporting our government customer in Chantilly, VA.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, a seasoned, experienced professional with a holistic understanding of the overhead collection enterprise will provide operational support to and assessment of mission critical systems performing orbital and radio frequency analysis.  Works collaboratively in an operations environment under only very general direction independently determines and develops approaches to solutions in a high tempo environment. Works with development engineers to assess current tools and future designs to ensure operational applicability. While this position is typically accomplished during normal duty hours, this position may 24/7 support, via 12-hour rotational shifts.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a technical field
    • Two (2) years of Astrodynamics orbit analyst education or experience
    • Two (2) years of satellite or space operations experience

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Three (3) years of Astrodynamics orbit analyst education or experience
    • Three (3) years of satellite or space operations experience
    • Experienced using Perl scripts, STK, Matlab, Microsoft Office products, especially Powerpoint and Access.
    • Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in a technical field

    SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Candidate must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance and maintain the clearance.
