  • Overview

    Peraton is seeking a Cybersecurity Application Engineer in Melbourne, FL to provide support to TT&C product software development.


    • Designing, implementing, managing, and supporting software security services and tools for a COTS software development team.
    • Developing security procedures and policies and managing compliance to policies. Leading code hardening endeavors within the product utilizing security scanning tools. As well as creating and distributing basic cybersecurity training.   



    • BS degree (or equivalent) in CS, CE, Cybersecurity, or related field
    • 8+ years’ experience designing and developing application level cybersecurity policies and procedures.
    • 8+ years’ experience with software development methodologies and life-cycles; specifications, design, implementation and testing.
    • 8+ years’ experience with Unix, preferably Linux (RHEL).
    • Experience with code analyses tools, such as a static code analyzer.



    • Experience with the Amazon Web Services cloud architecture and tools associated with cloud development.
    • Experience analyzing Java, C, C++ for secure coding standards
    • Experience identifying security risks and developing mitigation plans
    • Proficient communication and organization skills to interact with internal company contacts



    Individual must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance therefore U.S. Citizenship is Required.
