Provides deployment, installation, training support on Consular computer systems, hardware & software on-site for designated customer and staff members. Position covers a variety of contract coordination management tasks for staff and end users. Provides systems maintenance support including troubleshooting, problem analyses and assessments for hardware and software systems and assigned projects. Assures proper, clear, concise and complete guidance for ensuring successful deployment of teams to perform deployment and training.
The Systems Deployment Specialist will work independently and within the Coordination team to support various software and systems related trip tasks. The individual will be expected to support communications and outreach, staffing and scheduling, and ensure all logistical aspects of contract deployments are fulfilled. In depth knowledge of the process and procedures for scheduling and executing deployment and training trips are key for efficient operations.
State Department experience preferred
Local travel may be required for client meetings. Travel will be to State Department and vendor/contractor facilities in the Washington DC area.
