  • Overview

    Peraton is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to provide senior level administrative support for the Executive Office of our Federal customer in Chantilly, VA. The candidate shall provide a range of administrative duties for Senior executives. The ideal candidate will utilize MS Office Suite to include MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Access, and MS Excel to provide administrative support, and be responsible for the overall management of the office across a wide range of functional areas such as time/calendar management, correspondence management, security management, event planning, etc. It is also essential that the candidate can coordinate across multiple offices and gather background information to support successful office management.


    • Welcome and greet guest and visitors in the office.  
    • Maintain the calendars of office personnel and coordinate the daily activities and travel schedules to resolve conflicting priorities and requirements and ensure support for attendance at high profile meetings.
    • Maintain accountability of files and correspondence in the office, both in electronic and in paper form. The files should be readily accessible whenever the need arises to find historical documents.
    • Answer the telephone and refer the calls to other responsible individuals within the office. The administrative staff will serve as the interface with the public whenever there are inquiries concerning the office, including the greeting of high-level officials.
    • Process incoming mail, including e-mail and facsimile, to route correspondence to the appropriate individual in the office for response and action.
    • Arrange and coordinate department meetings and special events.
    • Record accurate minutes for executive level meetings.



    • BS degree, with five (05) years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to coordinate across large groups of people at multiple levels.
    • Experience working with senior officials



    *This position requires the candidate to have a current Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
