  • Overview

    Peraton is seeking a Telecommunications Business Analyst for a classified program to serve as the customer service point of contact for the telecommunications services within the enterprise and to external vendors. 

    Responsibilities

    Primary responsibilities include managing contracts with external telecommunication vendors for products and services; reconciling vendor billing statements with internal billing systems to ensure accuracy of bills and approving and scheduling payments to vendors; working closely with project managers to gather and translate customer telecommunication requirements into Service Level Agreements (SLA); and managing the day-to-day research and resolution of customer comments, questions, and concerns for all telecommunication services providing technical guidance and direction to customers.Other duties include:

     

    •       Overseeing voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliations.
    •       Ensuring software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed. 
    •       Development of standards for carrier service and equipment.
    •       Ensuring that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. 
    •       Providing regulatory monitoring and voice network analysis regarding short and long range planning for enterprise systems.
    •       Creating, maintaining, and enforcing telecommunication Service Level Agreements (SLA)
    •       Customer support and problem resolution for telecommunication services

    Qualifications

    • Requires Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 – 8 years of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 years of experience.  
    • Working experience gathering and translating customer telecommunication requirements into Service Level Agreements (SLA), managing the day-to-day research and resolution of customer comments, questions, and concerns for all telecommunication services providing technical guidance and direction to customers.
    • Current TS/SCI with poly security clearance.
