  • Overview

    We are looking to fill a critical role for a Contracts Manager with an active TS/SCI Security Clearance. In this role the Manager will manage proposals, administrations, and general business processes of contract management for both government and commercial programs, in accordance with company policies, acquisition regulations and customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs contract negotiations and management contracts of all types, such as FP, CPFF, and T&M.
    • Serve as the contracts lead on competitive and sole-source proposal efforts in support of business development activities in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as the government solicitation.
    • Provides guidance and leadership to cross-functional business team members to identify risk assessment and mitigation.
    • Understands the business case and has an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
    • May mentor less-experienced contract professionals.
    • Prepares bids, progress and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
    • Leads contract negotiations on non-disclosure and teaming agreements.
    • Interacts directly with customers and senior management personnel.
    • Regularly interact with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required.
    • Support internal/external audit activities as well as data request from internal / external customers.
    • Develops organizational conflict of interest mitigation plans, as required.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 10 years of related work experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors’ Degree.
    • Experience leading internal Request for Proposal (RFP) and RFP explanation meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract.
    • Experience preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements.
    • Experience interfacing with all levels of the project team (includes representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization person’s documents).
    • Experience with a variety of contract types to include FFP, CPFF, CPAF, and T&M in addition to working knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
    • Familiarity with U.S. Government Intelligence Community.
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

     

    PREFERRED:

    • Self-starter and independent worker with good organizational and computer skills.
    • Excellent negotiation skills, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills to deal effectively with executive management and staff regarding contracts issues with high degrees of complexity and work issues to resolution.
    • Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
    • GovWin and SharePoint experience, desired.

     

    SECURITY CLEARANCE:

    This position requires the candidate to have an Active TS/SCI security clearance and to maintain the clearance.
