  • Overview

    Peraton is looking for an ideal candidate to fulfill the position of Facilities & Logistics Administrator. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to the detailed coordination of facility maintenance, along with other related duties as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    • Work directly with a variety of third parties engaged in the maintenance and operation of the site
    • Ensure proper levels of service are being delivered by vendors
    • Troubleshoots minor maintenance issues
    • Provide support with locks, alarms and security cameras
    • Purchase supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete projects
    • Perform general duties that may include shipping, receiving, and material handling
    • Report maintenance or safety issues to property management via appropriate channels
    • Assists in organization and prioritization of work to meet project timelines
    • Coordinate requests for office space move dates, furniture, equipment, telephone/data equipment, and post move adjustments
    • Interact with client on building management and maintenance activities, and support the progress of projects through to completion
    • Ensure activities meet expectations, utilizing techniques and tools to resolve scheduling issues and advise management of resolutions

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Associates Degree or equivalent amount of experience plus 10 years of related professional experience
    • 5+ years of experience performing preventative and routine building maintenance duties
    • 5+ years of experience researching and selecting vendors for required services
    • 3+ years of experience directly managing small, medium and large scale move projects
    • 3+ years of experience developing space plans, and conducting walk-throughs with vendors/staff to determine scope of work
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

    *This position requires the candidate to have a current Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a polygraph.  Candidate must possess SCI eligibility.
