  • Overview

    Peraton has a great opportunity for Watch Operator I, supporting our government customer in Chantilly, VA. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provide operational support to mission critical systems including receiving, correlating, assessing
    • Develop operations status from multiple sources to track significant system status events
    • Prepare both written and verbal status reports based on system activity. 
    • Works under only very general direction independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. 
    • This position requires 24/7 support, via 12-hour rotational shifts.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:  

    • Must have BS/BA (or equivalent experience) with one (1+) years’ satellite operations or space control experience
    • Must have two (1+) years of experience in of crew management experience
    • One (1+) years of NRO or Intelligence Community experience preferred
    • One (1+) years of space training experience

    PREFERRED: 

    • One (1+) year of continuity of operations and/or exercise/wargame experience
    • MS/MA/MBA (or the equivalent) desired with two (2+) years’ satellite operations or space control experience
    • Two (2+) years of NRO or Intelligence Community experience preferred

    SECURITY CLEARANCE:

     

    This position requires the candidate to already have a current TS/SCI, in addition consent to Polygraph security clearance and able to maintain the clearance.
