    Peraton is seeking a Mobile Analytics Program Manager in Reston, VA to support our government and commercial customers.


    This position will be responsible for the following:


    The Mobile Analytics Program Manager will be responsible for the management of the data analytics program on an international basis.  The candidate will utilize recognized program and project management techniques to ensure that risks are mitigated, and issues addressed quickly and definitively, while maintaining momentum.  Ideal candidate will be accustomed to maintaining strategic global program focus while simultaneously managing project deliverables. 


    The Mobile Analytics Program Manager will utilize management skills to plan, coordinate and monitor projects as well as to oversee development of the solution and ensure on-time deployment and ongoing support. This position will interface with company stakeholders and be responsible for cross-organizational coordination.  Candidate will manage relationships with global operators and vendors to ensure deliverables are provided in a timely fashion.  The Mobile Analytics Program Manager will facilitate thought leadership in analytical approaches as well as business process changes and communicate with client executives.


    • Defining and managing strategic global data analytics program mandates
    • Develop project plans and schedules, manage teams to timelines & milestones, identify & mitigate risks, resolve interdependencies, remove obstacles for project teams, communicate regular status updates, and serve as the primary interaction point with project stakeholders
    • Work closely with multiple internal departments, external vendors and telecom operators to create sustainable business processes
    • Work directly with customers on technical integration planning of data analytics offerings
    • Build and maintain client relationships at the executive and management levels
    • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to assure proper messaging of project status and capabilities of solution offering
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time



    • 15+ years overall mobile telecom experience
    • 10+ years of international Project and Program Management experience of telecom services
    • 10+ years working directly for mobile operators
    • 5+ years vendor management in telecom
    • BS in CS, Engineering, or other related technical field, Master’s degree preferred
    • Both PMP and PgMP Certified
    • Experience managing complex international multimillion-dollar programs and projects
    • Practical knowledge and operational understanding of GSM, UMTS, LTE technologies
    • General knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem and use of analytics in telecom analysis
    • Experience with multi-cultural business environment; including field deployment, acceptance processes and support services


    • Self-starter able to work in start-up environment with minimal direction. 
    • Ability to work independently on complex problems and lead collaboration efforts across cross functional teams
    • Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate and manage team members in diverse locations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven expertise in managing international telecom operators as customers
    • Basic understanding of database structures with knowledge of RDMS, SQL, MySQL, NoSQL
    • Experience and knowledge of deployment and operation of indoor wireless solutions (cellular & WiFi)
    • General understanding and knowledge of WiFi protocol and 802.11 standards and WiFi analytics



    This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.  In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
