  • Overview

    We are seeking an Information Assurance/Security Engineer that will be responsible for developing and applying advanced methods and research techniques in the investigation and security documentation in support of the Air Force 375th Air Mobility Command (AMC) Transportation and Command and Control (C2), Information Assurance systems Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.




    The IA/Security Enginener will be responsible for the following tasks:


    • Produce required Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (DIACAP), DODI 8510.01 and Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53 security documentation and other policies and procedures to ensure proper security is implemented and enforced.
    • Develop clear and concise informational and technical documents, training and other IT related documents for new and existing systems.




    • BS Degree and 2+ years experience or MS Degree and 0 years experience or High School Diploma and 8+ years experience.
    • Experience with producing certification and accreditation documentation of a Government/DoD system to meet security requirements and guidance. Experience with information assurance and security practices.
    • Experience with DIACAP and/or NIST Risk Management Framework.
    • Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS) tool.
    • IAM Level II DoD 8570 Security + certification required.


    Security Clearance:


    This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Secret clearance and to maintain the clearance.
