  • Overview

    Peraton is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Systems Administrator (Security) to support our customer at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC.  


    • Research, installation, and testing of security patches to systems on multiple security domains
    • Monitoring logs of multiple system deployments
    • Providing documentation and other required artifacts for compliance of RMF packages
    • Research and application of STIGs to system deployments
    • Coordinating with System Administrators to ensure system passwords, certificates, etc. are up to date
    • Creation and Issuance of certificates



    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines from an accredited institution plus five (05) to ten (10) years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • IAT Level II or III Certification
    • Experience with the RMF accreditation process
    • Experience with the application of STIGs
    • System configuration experience in LINUX
    • System configuration experience in VMWARE
    • System configuration experience with Enterprise Identity Management tools (LDAP, IPA, etc.)
    • Experience with certificate generation and renewal
    • Experience in VM lifecycle management (snapshots)


    • The candidate must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph
