  • Overview

    We are seeking a Project Manager that will manage and monitor project performance and provide status to management and senior leadership. 

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecyle for small to large projects within the organization, reporting directly to the Program Manager.

     

    • Lead projects with ability to properly initiate, plan, execute, control and close work to meet outlined success criteria.
    • Produce project deliverables consistent with project management methodologies to include, but not limited to, project schedule, status reports, and communication plans and lessons learned documentation.
    • Aligns project tasks and team accountabilities with boundaries of agreed upon scope.
    • Monitors and reports on project tasks, milestones and estimated budget.
    • Endures project changes are properly identified, communicated, managed and documented.
    • Facilitate meetings to discuss project status and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Manage and monitor sub-contractors through project lifecycle, including scheduling on-site activities, facility outages, security escorting, visitor request submissions, etc.
    • Provide professional services in support of engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, schedule, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors.
    • Maintain client relationships and communication.
    • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning.
    • Make design, engineering, and construction recommendations, adaptations and modifications.
    • Develop and prepare proposals and reports for small to large projects of varying complexity.
    • Support multiple projects/applications and diverse assignments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience serving as Project Engineer/Manager.
    • Proficient with using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills at the business and technical level.
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
    • Working knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD 2014 is a plus
    • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Solid understanding of DoD Statements of Work.
    • Ability to write effective scopes of work for bid packages to compliment Statement of Work.

    SECURITY CLEARANCE:

     

    This position requires the candidate to already possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and to maintain the clearance.
